Chairman Rockefeller Calls for Safe and Secure Disposal of Sensitive Consumer Information
Washington, D.C. - Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation John D. (Jay) Rockefeller IV (D-WV) sent a letter to the Acting Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) calling for the safe and appropriate disposal of sensitive consumer information collected through Verified Identity Pass, Inc.’s (VIP) Clear program. This comes after the Clear program ceased operations as a provider of TSA’s Registered Traveler program.
