Commerce Committee to Hold Hearing on Consumer Benefits of Broadband

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation announces a Full Committee hearing on Why Broadband Matters, scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.

The Committee will receive testimony regarding the consumer benefits of broadband service in areas such as education, job opportunities, telemedicine, and access to government resources.
