Moving Intercity Passenger Rail Into the Future

Acela TrainWASHINGTON, D.C.—The Senate Subcommittee on Surface Transportation and Merchant Marine Infrastructure, Safety, and Security today announced a hearing to review the Federal Railroad Administration’s and Amtrak’s implementation of the Passenger Rail Investment and Improvement Act of 2008, including the intercity and high-speed rail grant programs.
