Commerce Committee Launches New Website to Increase Usability and Transparency
October 7, 2015
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation launched a new website to increase usability and transparency to the public.
“The Internet is a powerful tool and one that the Commerce Committee uses regularly to stream hearings and to engage with the public,” said U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), chairman. “Changes to the committee website will make our work more accessible to the people we serve through features like the nominations matrix to help track the status and disclosures of nominees pending before the panel. I encourage the public to check out our new website and share feedback."
The new nominations matrix can be viewed here.
