Sen. Fischer Calls Second Hearing on Pipeline Safety
September 23, 2015
WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), chairman of the Surface Transportation and Merchant Marine Infrastructure, Safety, and Security Subcommittee, will convene a hearing entitled “Pipeline Safety: Oversight of Our Nation’s Pipeline Network” on Tuesday, September 29th at 2:30 p.m.
“America’s pipelines move critical energy resources to homes and businesses across Nebraska and throughout the country,” Sen. I am pleased to continue this discussion, and I look forward to hearing from industry stakeholders about best practices and the challenges we face."
