ICYMI: The DeLorean is Back!
Thanks to passage of the FAST Act transportation bill, a company will build “replica 1982 DeLoreans under a low-volume manufacturing bill approved by the federal government”

WASHINGTON – Section 24405 of the bipartisan FAST Act, which Congress approved in December, gave manufacturers building “not more than 325 replica motor vehicles per year” regulatory relief from burdens that apply to large auto production lines.”
U.S. Senate Commerce Committee Chairman John Thune (R-S.D.) made the following statement on the report:
“The FAST Act included provisions to create opportunities for job creation by reforming regulations that often don’t make sense and stifle small businesses. I’m excited to see this part of our reform bill is making a difference for a small business and fans of an iconic 1980s car.”
