Wicker Statement on First Anniversary of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 Crash

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, today released the following statement on the first anniversary of the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash:
“On the first anniversary of the tragic plane crash in Ethiopia, our sympathies remain with the families of the 157 individuals who lost their lives,” said Wicker. “Every day, thousands of passengers rely on the aviation system for their travel needs, and we will always prioritize their safety. The committee remains actively engaged with the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board to prevent future tragedies. We cannot become complacent in this responsibility.”
