Executive Session Scheduled to Organize Committee

The Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation will hold a brief Executive Session on Thursday, February 13, at 9:30 a.m., in room 253 of the Russell Senate Office Building. The hearing on USOC Reform will begin immediately after the Executive Session. The purpose of the Executive Session will be to approve subcommittee chairs, subcommittee membership, and committee rules. Members also will approve new subcommittees: the Subcommittee on Competition, Foreign Commerce, and Infrastructure, and the Subcommittee on Consumer Affairs and Product Safety, and change the name of the Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, and Fisheries to the Subcommittee on Oceans, Fisheries, and Coast Guard.
