Rockefeller Statement on Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison's Decision Not to Seek Reelection

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Senator John D. (Jay) Rockefeller IV, Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, issued the following statement after Ranking Member Kay Bailey Hutchison announced her decision not to seek reelection in 2012:
"Kay is thoughtful and a great partner at the committee. She is always looking for ways to work together and get things done - not to fight or argue or grandstand. She's a bulldog and she's magical and I will miss working with her."
