Priorities, Plans, and Progress of the Nation's Space Program

NASAWASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation announces a full committee hearing on priorities, plans, and progress of the nation's space program.

At this hearing, the Committee will consider the President’s fiscal year 2013 budget request for NASA in the context of the direction provided by the NASA Authorization Act of 2010, including the expansion of a human presence beyond low-Earth orbit (LEO); full scientific utilization of the International Space Station; and establishment of reliable commercial cargo and crew services to LEO.
