Thune Announces Commerce Subcommittee Assignments

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Senator John Thune (R-S.D.), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, today announced subcommittee assignments for Republican committee members for the 114th Congress.
“These subcommittee assignments will help the committee pursue an active agenda this Congress,” said Thune. “The American people gave this Congress a mission to craft policies that support job growth and strengthen our economy. The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and its six subcommittees will work to achieve these goals, while also conducting important oversight.”
Senator Thune, as chairman of the full committee, will serve as an ex officio member of each subcommittee.
