Commerce to Hold Field Hearing on Magnuson-Stevens Act in Alaska

WASHINGTON – The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation will hold a hearing titled “Reauthorization of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act: Oversight of Fisheries Management Successes and Challenges” at 1:00 p.m. Alaska Standard Time (AKST) on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. The first hearing in the series examining our nation’s fishery laws will be held on August 1, 2017.
