Enabling Rural Businesses to Grow at Home While Competing Abroad

U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.), Chair of the Subcommittee on Tourism, Trade and Export Promotion, will convene a subcommittee hearing titled “Enabling Rural Businesses to Grow at Home While Competing Abroad” on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10 A.M. This hearing will examine the current landscape for rural export businesses, including the challenges facing rural businesses as they work to access international markets and the resources available to support rural business owners as they start or expand their export business. Witnesses will highlight the importance of rural businesses to local economies and the need to ensure they have the tools to compete globally.
